Releases set for 6th of March

If you need yet another reason to go to the KRAAK festival in Aalst on the 6th of March, next to seeing Yoshi Wada, we'll be having a stand holding 2 new releases there.

Nate Wooley Trumpet/Amplifier LP

A firestorm of grinding sound that emerges one into a highly personal sonic hellhole; Trumpet/Amplifier is a definitive statement by Wooley and is probably his most drastic and complete album to date. A marriage of noise and freejazz plagued by shadows and fog. Comes with extensive liner notes by Ben Hall (Graveyards).

Limited to 496 copies, with screenprinted art, designed by Levi Seeldraeyers.

Peeesseye+Talibam! 2xLP

A collaboration made in fudge, this brings together 2 tribes of cannibals that cook up a gumbo stew of Kraut infused jams and over the top arm wrestling organ-freakouts to conjure up bleeding walls of feedback. Result? A serious contender for the scariest psych fest this town has ever seen. The CD version of this is coming out on the lovely Invada Records.

Limited to 600 copies, artwork by Rachel Lowther.

Be like the smart kids and pre-order your copy, since these are expected to move fairly fast. Write to: orders[at]smeraldina-rima[dot]com

See you at the festival.
